Merry Christmas from the Heidenreich's

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6

We want to thank each of you for investing in us as we work to reach the world with the Gospel!

Merry Christmas,
The Heidenreich's

Greensboro, North Carolina

On December 18th I was with Pastor Bill Davis in Greensboro, North Carolina. The church was full that Sunday morning as I preached on missions. There were three people saved in the services and many other decisions made that day.

What a tremendous work they are doing in that area. I was really thankful for the way that they were working with the young people. I want to thank Pastor Davis and his family and the church members for a tremendous job they did preparing for that day.

Linton, Indiana

The first week in December I went to Linton, Indiana, with Pastor Doug Cassle. What a great meeting we had with the people at his church.

They had such a strong committment towards their mission program. It was very evident that they had spent many hours praying and preparing for this mission program. The way that they treat their missionaries when they come in is very special. I walked away being truly blessed of God being at that meeting.

I want to thank Pastor Cassle and all his people for a special missions program.

Central Baptist Church in Avenel, New Jersey

I really enjoyed preaching the Missions Weekend for Pastor Jim Gelhausen at Central Baptist Church in Avenel, New Jersey.

The church is growing and they really enjoy hearing the preaching. They were able to increase their Missions giving and helped with a special project for a missionary whose building was partially destroyed by fire. This is one church where they really take special care of you. I am always refreshed after spending time with the people of the church.

The Lord blessed with people saved and there over twenty different nationalities in the service.

Pasadena, Maryland

This past week I was able to open the the Missions Revival Conference for Pastor Arcand in Pasadena, Maryland. His family and I have been close friends for over 25 years.

The spirit of this church was tremendous and the people respond well. Their giving to missionaries is very exciting and a great help in getting the Gospel out. We had people saved in the services.  Its always good to have a missions conference where people are being saved while preaching that people around the world should also hear the Gospel.

The picture above is one of the Sunday School classes I visited with.
We had a great meeting and a wonderful time of fellowship.

Parkersburg, WV

On Wednesday, November 2nd, I flew to Parkersburg, WV, to be at the Landmark Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Lamb. Pastor Lamb and I were in Bible college together several years ago.  How thankful I am for those who have stayed in the ministry all these years.

What an exciting church to be in and the Missions Conference was tremendous. People were saved as we went out soul winning and many decisions were made each night.  Pastor Lamb has one of the best missions conference I’ve ever seen.

The Lord has truly blessed us as we serve Him.

Alaska

I had the pleasure of going and spending some time at Northern Lights Baptist Church in Anchorage, Alaska. Pastor Clark was a wonderful host and is doing a great work. I was able to teach in their Bible Institute and preach in Chapel. What a joy to be with young people that have such a great desire to serve the Lord.

I also was there to preach their Missions Conference. The Missionaries were exciting and the people respond well. People were saved and baptized with many other decisions for the Lord.  I was able to lead several people to the Lord which is always exciting!

More About Cameroon

Praise the Lord for a great opportunity to go to Cameroon, Africa. We were with Missionaries Nathan and Karie Owens and what a great job this young family is doing. The Lord really has His hand upon the church they started.

The people are so hungry to hear the Word of God. I was able to spend my mornings teaching them how to win people to Christ. Then in the afternoons we went out soul winning with the church members. What a joy to see many of them win people to Christ. We had people baptized many of the days we were there.

At night I preached their first Missions Conference. They totally understood the idea and impact of sending a missionary because God had sent them one. We also made plans to start a new Church and Bible Institute.

Please pray for the Owens family as the country of Cameroon is going through their elections. This is a very dangerous time for all the people in Cameroon.

The last picture is me with some of the young men.  They were eager to dress in a suit and no, my outfit wasn't my pajamas but I preached in their native clothing!

Soulwinning in Africa!

Praise the Lord, we had a great trip to Cameroon, Africa!  I just returned home on Thursday night from experiencing an exciting time with Missionary Nathan Owens & his family.  I had two other men that came with me, Missionary Doug Marco & Bro. Ronnie Howell.

Bro. Nathan Owens has done a phenomenal job starting this new church on the mission field. Calvary Independent Baptist Church of Buea, Cameroon is growing and full of excitement.   One thing you will notice if you ever go on a missions trip, is that it will stir your heart like nothing you’ve ever seen.   I experience this everytime I go on a trip to help a missionary.   God blessed our trip in a great way.  I had the opportunity to teach new converts how to go soul winning and then take them out to show them how it was done.   One afternoon I was able to lead 15 people to Christ as they were with me.   It's rewarding to see the joy on their faces to see their own people come to Christ.

I'll share more of my trip to Africa in days to come.  I am repacking my bags to head to Alaska this week.  Please keep me in your prayers!

Cameroon, Africa

Please be praying as I leave for Cameroon, Africa this weekend to help the Nathan Owens family.   They started the Calvary Independent Baptist Church, Buea, Cameroon, a few months ago and are doing very well.  They have had many new converts and they are very excited about the Lord.

I will be teaching on soul winning and Christian growth while I am there.  Pray for us as there will  be many opportunities to take these new converts soul winning.  We also will help Calvary Independent Baptist Church have a Faith Promise Missions Conference.

I am glad about the work that God is doing around the world.  Don’t forget that this world is His world and we need to do what we can to reach it for His Glory!

Missions Conference in North Carolina

The last few weeks have been very busy. We traveled through seven states and drove 4,163 miles. We were able to help two churches have their first Mission’s Conference. What a joy to see the excitement among the people learning that God loves the people of the world.
