Dominican Republic Trip

We had been planning a Mission’s week in the Dominican Republic at the end of the month with Missionary Steve Sidler. The day I was to leave Hurricane Sandy took off and I wasn’t able to go because of my flight being cancelled.  I was very disappointed but God had a plan and was going to work in a great way. Before the conference we had helped to rent buses and buy Bibles for the people that would be there on that Sunday.

Praise the Lord, they had 1,651 people come with 726 of them saved and 104 people baptized.

I always enjoy seeing how God works when we can't figure it out. God knew what was ahead and blessed in a mighty way!

Twin City Baptist Church ~ Brewer, Maine

This past week I was with Pastor Patrick Heuveline and the Twin City Baptist Church in Brewer, Maine.  I've know the Heuveline's for many years and it's always good to visit their church.

What I love about this church is that it has a great desire for missions.  We had a very good service Sunday morning with a young man walking the aisle for salvation (pictured below).  He was so excited to get saved and is going to be baptized next week.

This church has great families that love the Lord.  They out did themselves with an international dinner after the service.  What a great time I had with the Twin City Baptist Church.

Faith Baptist Church ~ Carver, Maine

I always look forward to being with Pastor Shaun Weeks and the Faith Baptist Church in Carver, Maine.  Each time I am there I have a great time of fellowship with these dear people.

Pastor Weeks has such a burden for the New England States and the young people from that area. God did a great work through their mission’s weekend.

September 23rd ~ Faith Baptist Church ~ Berne, IN

On Sunday, September 23, 2012, I had the opportunity to preach for Pastor Combest and Faith Baptist Church in Berne, Indiana.  What a great church of dedicated and faithful people!

Pastor Combest and two of his sons took me out for some awesome pizza and we had a great time of fellowship while out. The Sunday services were very exciting and people were saved.  I was amazed at the great job they were doing in their area.

Please pray for Pastor Combest as he is recovering from heart surgery!

Northern Lights Baptist Church ~ Anchorage, AK

Praise the Lord for another meeting!

Just a few days after I got back from the Philippines, I flew to Anchorage, AK  to be with Pastor Clark and Northern Lights Baptist Church. I was able to preach in their Bible Institute and what a great time I had with those students who have a desire to serve the Lord.

I  preached their missions conference and they had an increase in their Faith Promise Giving. I really enjoyed their missions videos and seeing how the Lord is working in other countries of the world.  Each time I see these countries I want to volunteer to go!

We also had a 100 mile hour rainstorm on Sunday morning and many of the streets were blocked.  God still gave us a great service. We had people saved and baptized in the services. They had International Sunday and there were over 40 different nationalities in attendance.

Soulwinning

I have to admit that my trips to the Philippines always go so quickly.  I love having time to see my son and his family.  The grandkids grow up so quickly and it's always fun to spend quality time with them.

We went out soul winning through out our trip there.  We were able to print and pass out over 25,000 tracts and 100 Bibles.  We had 4,234 people saved on this trip.  I personally baptized 26 people.

What a great trip!  To God be the Glory!

Public School Ministry in the Philippines

One of the highlights of my trips to the Philippines is going into the public schools and being able to give the plan of salvation.  I am always amazed at how open the teachers and young people are.   On September 3-5,  we were able to teach and preach  in the public schools.  The Lord blessed in a great way and we saw 2,737 people trust Jesus as their Saviour.

On August 27th,  I flew to the Philippines with a good friend, Ronnie Howell.  We went to be a part of the 25th anniversary of Gospel Baptist Church in Calinog with my son, Missionary Sam Heidenreich.  This was the church that I started back in 1987.

On Sunday, September 2nd, we had a great day.   The Lord gave us 1,477 people in attendance with 360 visitors and 332 were saved.

Trip to Panama

The very end of July into the first week of August I went to Panama  It was pouring down rain when we landed in the city of David. We got there just in time to go soul winning and we had five people saved that Saturday. We had to use the interrupters but had a great time witnessing to these dear people.

Sunday morning the church had two services so Pastor Charles Carver and I rotated teaching and preaching. We spoke seven times between the two of us. We had over 40 people saved and 15 baptized.

We then had the Old Paths Conference Monday through Wednesday. My son-in-law, Evangelist Allen Domelle, was there along with Bro Rick Stults and Pastor Charles Hamilton. I was able to teach and preach every night. I want to thank all of you for praying for us while we were there.

Please continue to pray as I  am preaching in two different churches this weekend.  Also pray for my upcoming trip to the Philippines on August 27th.

Winning Souls

One of the greatest blessings of the ministry is being able to serve the Lord with your family.

This past week I was able to go soul winning with my daughter, Sandy (Domelle), and my granddaughter, Caitlyn.  We had a great time out and were able to win a lady to the Lord.

Continue to pray for our health and safety as we are traveling many miles the next few weeks.

More Traveling!

I was home just a few days and left to preach for Pastor Johnson in Virginia.  This is always a special church for me to visit because my grand children attend there. It just seems that there isn’t enough time in the day to accomplish everything. We had a great service and the people have such a heart for missions.

Please continue to pray for as we have a busy month ahead.  At the end of the month I will be headed to Panama.

Hillside Baptist Church in Hixson, TN

We have been very busy in the last few weeks and traveled hundreds of miles for different meetings.  God has been so good to us in our travels with keeping us safe and well.

I just finished a great meeting with Pastor Cape in Hixson TN. They started the meeting off with the men’s horseshoe tournament. It was good to see so many men turn out and have a great time. We had exciting services and enjoyed skyping missionaries every night of the services. One of the highlights was that the Lord helped the people of this church to increase their Faith Promise. Heaven’s resources are still available for the saving of souls.

Wednesday morning we went soul winning and had four people trust Jesus as their Saviour. I asked to go out with one their bus captain and we went by a house where a young man had cancer. I was able to talk to him and his wife, before we left they received Jesus as their Saviour.

On the last night of  the meeting a dear friend of mine came to visit the church while I was there. I met, Eric Bowman, over twenty years ago who was then a teenager and had surrendered his life to be a missionary to Africa. He has spent many years in Africa and now is working as a director with BIMI.

(Bro. Eric Bohman & Me)

I enjoy each and every meeting the Lord has for me and seeing the people get a new commitment for their missionaries in their giving, communication and prayer.  It stirs my heart to keep helping our missionaries all across the world and our churches to keep their Faith Promise coming in.

Church Planting

What a great opportunity we have in helping to start churches around the world.

In the past year we have helped start churches in Colombia, Argentina and the Philippines.   We are praising God for people being saved and baptizied in each of these churches and the growth of new Christians.   One of the churches we started in Panama over a year ago is now averaging about 200.   We have plans on starting serveral more churches this year and get excited to see what doors the Lord opens for each one.

I can't thank all of you enough for making this possible!

Lighthouse Baptist Church ~ Leighton, PA

This past week I have been at a Missions Conference with Pastor Wolverton and the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Leighton, PA.  On the flight there, I was able to share the Gospel with a few different people from Bangladesh, Egypt, and Paraguay.

One of the  Missionaries in the conference was Dan Gardner, a missionary to Japan. He was the first missionary I met 36 years ago. Our family support him for twenty years. What a faithful man and blessing to hear of God's blessings in his work in Japan.  Here is a picture of Bro. Gardner and myself:

Pastor Wolverton and Lighthouse Baptist Church were planning to break their record attendance of 377. The church prayed, worked hard, went soul winning and on Faith Promise Sunday they had 467 people come.  What an exciting Sunday to be a part of.

The church also broke their record in their Faith Promise Giving! I like it when a church has a Mission's Revival! I want to thank all of those people for their hard work and faith in God!

Prayers

Please continue to pray for my health. I have been traveling heavily over the last four months overseas and around America.  I've picked something up that has me not feeling the best and a little weak.  I am struggling with Vertigo.  The doctors haven’t been able to figure out what else is wrong yet.   I'm just trying to keep up the pace.

April 11-15th, 2012

After seeing the doctor and having more blood work done I flew into the San Francisco area to be with Pastor David Owens and Westside Baptist Church.
I have been on missions trips with Pastor Owens and his family and what a great blessing they always are.  We had a great time with his people and really enjoyed the fellowship. His son,  David Owens, who is a missionary in Guyana was there for one service with his family. I have been to visit his work several times and have enjoyed preaching for him in Guyana.  The mission’s conference was a great success and their faith promise was increased.

One of the things I appreciate about Pastor David Owens is that he has a few of his children on the mission field.  He has a son, Jonathan, that is a missionary in Bulgaria, a son, David, that is a missionary in Guyana, and a son, Nathan, in Cameroon, Africa as a missionary.  Their youngest son, Samuel, just got married and he plans to go to the mission field as well.  The Owen's have a great love for missions!

I had a doctor's appointment today and would like all of you prayers. With all the traveling I've done recently and being overseas I am not feeling 100%.  The doctor told me I have Vertigo and also took blood to check a few other things.  Pray it's nothing serious and easy to fix quickly!

First Baptist Church, Dayton, Ohio

I flew to Dayton, Ohio to be with Pastor Rick Carr and the First Baptist Church. I always enjoy the spirit of Pastor Carr.

I really enjoyed the music and presentations of the missionaries that were there for the conference.  There was an excitement with the people each night.   The church was able to increase their faith promise which is always is a help in getting more missionaries to the field.  There were people saved and baptized during the conference. I always look forward to being with this church.

Freedom Baptist Church

My meeting this past week was with Pastor Worley and the Freedom Baptist Church in North Carolina.  I always enjoy being with the people of this church. What a hard working bunch of people who are great at fellowshipping after the church services each night. I enjoy getting to know their people.

This church has a heart for missions and it can be seen everywhere.  We had a great response to faith promise during the week and had people  baptized during the conference.

What a blessing it was to be with this church.

On Friday, March 17th, we spent the day by going into the public schools and giving the plan of salvation. We were able to see 714 people saved that day.  These are picture of some of the teachers we were able to see saved.
A special thank you to all the people who sacrificially gave to make this all possible. Only eternity will tell all that was accomplished on this trip.

Gospel Baptist Church, Calinog, Philippines

On February 6, 2012, the day started out with a 6.9 earthquake and very hard rain in the Philippines. I left that day for the Philippines hoping that I could get there without any delays. The Lord was very good with the trip as I landed, met up with my son, Sam, and grandson, JP, and was able to make up into the mountains. The rain continued but we were able to accomplish great things for the Lord.
Sunday, March 12th, was an exciting day as we saw 37 souls saved and 6 baptized.

Salisbury Baptist Temple ~ Salisbury, MD ~ January 18-22, 2012

This past week I was at a Missions Conference with Pastor Carlo Leto and the Salisbury Baptist Temple in Salisbury, MD. We had a great Conference with people saved and baptized as well as people's hearts burdened for missions.

Over all there were over ten missionary families through out the seven day conference. At the close of the conference on Sunday evening the people of Salisbury Baptist Temple promised to give in faith over $102,000 to missions.

We enjoyed fellowshipping with missionareis each night! I want to thank all the people that prepared meals. I mean really delicous food!

We went and played soccer after church with the young people. What a great Missions Conference we had and God is still blessing the giving for the Gospel of His Son!

Glen Burnie, Maryland ~ January 8, 2012

I had the joy of being at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Glen Burnie, Maryland.  What great job they did on remodeling their auditorium. The church was almost packed out that Sunday and the people were full of excitement.

One thing that I really appreicate about the people of this church, they have a tremendous love for missions.  This definitely says a lot about the heart of Pastor Paul Arcand.  I always enjoy  being at this church.
